I found several of your posts informational and relatable. After a few trips to China, I also have thought about similar topics.
I am now preparing to travel once again to China for an extended stay. I desire to keep a blog when I am there but am aware of censorship issues. Is this blog fully viewable in China? Do you know if other blog hosts can easily be used and viewed in China?
Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the help.

Hi BC,
When I was researching where to host my blog I remember reading that Blogger was not accessible in China and WordPress was. However, I have now received a message from my friend in China saying that she is unable to access the site. This could be for many reasons of course – but it could also mean that the firewall in China has been extended.
It is worth noting that there will always be a risk in writing a blog in China as the Chinese authorities will want to block anything presenting an alternative opinion. Having said this, there are plenty of blogs that record brief trips to China and appear to be written as they happen. Maybe you could use one of those hosts?
Or use the same host as 88: http://the88s.blogsome.com/
